Who ever thought this would be a good idea? We’ll be the first to admit we’re not the biggest of fans of Stooshe, but the very concept of them covering TLC’s Waterfalls feels sacrilegious, tacky, an unnecessary move for a group only two singles into their career. Black Heart was a mature, elegant bit of contemporary pop-soul – but Stooshe’s take on Waterfalls singularly erases all that in a loose dressing of incredibly dated production and ineffectual cheese.
