We’ll be the first to admit we’re not the biggest of fans of Stooshe, but the very concept of them covering TLC’s Waterfalls feels sacrilegious, tacky, an unnecessary move for a group only two singles into their career. Black Heart was a mature, elegant bit of contemporary pop-soul – but Stooshe’s take on Waterfalls singularly erases all that in a loose dressing of incredibly dated production and ineffectual cheese.
